Highly sensitive devices monitor the earth’s vibrations, temperatures, solar radiation, evaporation rates, and many other factors that scientists use to study and predict changes in our environment.
Solarcraft has built a number of instrument systems for the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology, or IRIS. http://www.iris.edu/stations/
These systems are part of a larger network of seismic monitoring systems deployed worldwide to measure and predict earthquake and volcanic events.
