The UNI-PAK™ is Solarcraft’s most versatile power system, designed to securely house extensive electronics or batteries in all environments. Available as solar power or DC-UPS (AC line power) backup configurations, the Uni-Pak is a space saving NEMA 3R/4X system.

Standard solar from 40W to 480W; backup from DC-UPS 30W to 200W; 12VDC or 24VDC.

Although the Uni-Pak can be set up for power-only, it is an optimal integrated power and electronics solution. The Uni-Pak is designed with a standard singlewide or doublewide footprint. Height and width increase in modular units based on battery and backplane dimensions. Therefore, the Uni-Pak is ideal for locations where extensive electronics equipment and batteries must fit in a limited space, or where extended backup capacity requires many batteries.

Uni-Pak’s two-compartment enclosure design houses the batteries in a vented lower compartment. Their weight stabilizes the enclosure and solar array, and a sealed bulkhead keeps gases and moisture away from the electronics compartment. Our skilled electricians integrate the power adaptors, electronics, radios, RTUs, instruments, etc., to the upper compartment’s backplane, according to drawings prepared by our engineers or the customer.

The solar array can be installed on to the integral mounting flanges, and acts as a sunshade for the enclosure. For backup power systems the configuration is the same, less the solar array.

The Uni-Pak is a good choice for custom power solutions, simply because it is so versatile. Double wide Uni-Pak systems are well suited for 24VDC systems. The Uni-Pak ships fully assembled including solar array and batteries, minimizing installation time and errors.
