James Snowden

Director of Business Development

We are pleased to announce that James R. (Jim) Snowden has been named Director of Business Development here at Solarcraft. Jim's experience covers a range of private and federal technology services sectors, including energy and aerospace. His career experience encompasses business operations, business development, and program management. Jim is a former USAF fighter pilot. He continued his aerospace career in fighter program management, and program management for the International Space Station.

Solarcraft President, Darrell Haun, commented, “We are experiencing dynamic growth in our core market, the oil and gas industry, recently completing our best ever three-month sales period. Under Jim’s leadership, Solarcraft will significantly increase our investment in new markets, and strengthen our existing pipeline and utility business for our stand-alone power, backup power, emergency mobile power, smart grid communications, and field electronics and communications solutions.” Solarcraft’s new markets such as wind farm meteorological measurement or obstruction lighting are both rapidly expanding for 2010 and beyond.
