Solarcraft specializes in instrument air compressor systems and packages powered by solar panels and a battery bank, utility line power and batteries, or a hybrid of both for extreme reliability.
With new regulations limiting methane emissions, which are recognized as a significant greenhouse gas, clean instrument air systems have many advantages. First and most important, air compressors can replace line-gas-powered control valves, eliminating methane emissions at the valve site. Clean, dry instrument air eliminates the corrosive effects of line gas on sensitive equipment. No longer venting flammable methane on-site improves air quality and safety.
- Air compressor packages powered by solar panels and battery bank, utility line power, or a hybrid of both, offer extreme reliability.
- Packages can be sized to effectively operate almost any pneumatic valve actuator, replacing methane-emitting line gas actuators.
- All control components — including RTUs/PLCs, communications, and any other devices, are housed along with the power system, in a rugged Type 4X-3R enclosure. Or for larger installations, components can be housed in a walk-in shelter, simplifying field installation.
